The Gathering of Enchantment
In the heart of the whispering wood,
Where sunlight dances and shadows brood,
Squirrels gather, their tails alight,
Cloaked in the magic of fading twilight.
With acorns spun in shimmering threads,
They conjure spells where the forest treads,
A circle of friends, both timid and bold,
Whispering secrets that never grow old.
The owls lend wisdom, the rabbits bring cheer,
Each creature enchanted, drawn ever near,
In the glow of an ember, their spirits unite,
As the forest breathes magic, unbound by the night.
Whispers Under Boughs
In the shade where branches meet,
A squirrel prances on nimble feet.
With tiny paws, a secret shared,
To the ancient oak, its knowledge bared.
"Oh, wise old tree, with roots so deep,
Guard our dreams and secrets keep.
I scurry through the forest bright,
Whispering spells ‘neath the moonlit night."
And the oak, with its gnarled embrace,
Listens close with a patient grace.
In rustling leaves, a soft reply,
A magic born where whispers lie.
