Urban Blooms
In concrete jungles, gray and cold,
Flower boxes, tales unfolding,
With petals bright, a painter’s brush,
They wake the walls from silent hush.
Yellow daffodils, lavender’s grace,
Draped on edges, a soft embrace,
They whisper joy, where shadows cast,
In vibrant hues, the die is cast.
A splash of life, against the stone,
Each bloom a heartbeat, not alone,
In cityscapes where dreams collide,
Flower boxes stand with pride.
Resilience in the Concrete
In the seams of stone and steel,
Where asphalt holds its weary sigh,
A wildflower dares to unseal,
The cracked embrace where dreams can lie.
With petals bright against the gray,
She whispers life where none remain,
A vibrant splash in stark array,
As nature’s art breaks through the pain.
Through crumbling walls and urban rage,
A testament to soft defiance,
She blooms, a rogue upon the stage,
In every crack, a silent alliance.
