Rainbow on the Grill
In the garden’s vibrant sweep, Colors dance, a feast to keep. Red peppers glow, like sunset's fire, Zucchini curls, a green desire. Golden corn on sizzling racks, Eggplant rich with purple slacks. Carrots bright, a crunchy cheer, Each bite, summer’s laughter near. Drizzled oil, a sprinkle of salt, Flavor bursts in every vault. A rainbow on my plate, divine, Grilled veggies sing, a taste of time.
Fire-Kissed Chicken
Marinated memories, soaked in the sun, With spices and herbs, a feast just begun. On the grill they sizzle, a symphony high, As flames dance and flicker, beneath an open sky. Golden-brown skin, with crispy delight, A whisper of smoke, in the cool summer night. Each bite tells a story, of laughter and cheer, Of gatherings cherished, with loved ones held near. So raise your glass high, to the flavors that meld, To barbecue nights, where our hearts are compelled. For marinated chicken, kissed by the flame, Brings us together, forever the same.
