Flickers of Hope
In the dusk where colors blend, A haze clings tight, its grip won't end. Yet through the smog, a whisper glows, A tale of life, where beauty grows. The stars, though faint, begin to spark, Against a sky, once bright, now dark. Each breath a struggle, yet we dream, Of clearer winds and flowing streams. For in the shadows, hope can rise, A fragile flame beneath the skies. Together, hearts can mend the wear, Let love and change reclaim the air.
Ghosts of Green
In cities draped in smoky shades, Where whispers of the trees now fade, The ghostly sighs of timbered past, In industrial breaths, their shadows cast. Once stood in splendor, trunks held high, Guardians of the open sky, Now grasp at memories, frail and thin, With every cough, the world turns grim. Muffled cries, the lungs of earth, In factories, they lost their worth, You’ll find them in the hazy air, Among the echoes of despair. Yet within this choking gray cocoon, A flicker sparks; let hope bloom soon, For in each ghost, a story lives, Of breath returned, the earth forgives.
