Golden Reflections
As daylight dips to kiss the sea,
Sunsets paint with hues so free,
Golds and reds in whispered tones,
A pathway where the lost heart roams.
Pier shadows stretch, a sentinel stand,
Guarding dreams with weathered hand,
Each wave a brushstroke, soft and fleet,
In twilight's glow, the day’s retreat.
Where boats sway gently, time does cease,
In the painted silence, find your peace,
For in these colors, life’s stories blend,
By the water's edge, each moment transcends.
Salty Whispers
At the end of the pier where the seagulls play,
Children's laughter dances, brightening the day.
Splashing their feet in the waves' cool embrace,
Salty breeze carries joy, a light-hearted chase.
Bubbles like dreams float up to the sky,
As twinkling eyes sparkle, laughter looping high.
With each little giggle, the ocean hums back,
A symphony of joy in the sun's warm track.
Shells are their treasures, the ocean’s best finds,
Windswept adventure in magical binds.
Together they wander, where sand meets the sea,
In this moment of childhood, wild and free.
Echoes of the Pier
Footsteps dance on weathered planks,
Where whispers weave 'tween sea and banks.
The salty air, a gentle guide,
Bears secrets of the ebbing tide.
Each creak and groan, a tale unfurls,
Of lovers’ promises and swirls,
Of fishermen's hopes cast far and wide,
Captured where the ocean sighed.
With every stride, the echoes blend,
Old stories haunt, and time transcends,
On wooden paths where memories steer,
We walk again, forever here.
