Whispers of Late Winter
Pale sunlight breaks through heavy clouds, A timid touch on frost-kissed ground. Buds shiver, held by winter's shrouds, While nature’s colors softly rebound. Browns of bark, and grays of sky, Hints of green, where shadows play. Crimson berries cling to branches high, Announcing spring's clandestine ballet. In this muted, fleeting glow, Winter's breath begins to fade. With every ray, a subtle show, Of life anew, in colors laid.
Winter's Whisper
In twilight's hush, the shadows play, Silhouettes of wings in soft decay. A canvas pale, where colors fade, The breath of spring begins to wade. The chill of frost, yet life ignites, As feathered forms embrace the heights. Against a sky of slate and steel, They dance upon the winter's wheel. With each beat, the promise sings, Of warmer days and budding things. Though winter lingers, wild and bare, The birds return—a vibrant air.
Embrace of Late Winter
Bare trees reach for the skies, In silence, their branches sway, Draped in frost, a crystal prize, As winter holds at bay the day. Crisp air carries whispers low, Of colors soft, both stark and bright, Gray clouds brush the fields aglow, A palette born from winter's night. The earth lies still, yet dreams awake, In hues the sun has yet to greet, While shadows dance on white snowflakes, Nature's art, serene and sweet.
