Letters of Light
In shadows deep, where silence lay,
A void so vast, it stole my day.
But words like whispers, soft and true,
Came bounding forth, from me to you.
A love letter penned in midnight’s glow,
Transformed my heart from cold to flow.
Each line a lifeline, woven tight,
They lit my world with gentle light.
Across the miles, your voice did sing,
A melody, which hope could bring.
Bridging the chasm, calm and wide,
In every verse, love's arms confide.
So here I stand, no longer alone,
With every letter, love has grown.
For in the depths of paper’s seam,
I found my solace, stitched in dream.
Whispers of Comfort
In shadows deep, where silence dwells,
Words wrapped around my lonely heart,
With verses soft, like gentle spells,
They pulled me from the dark apart.
Each line a whisper, sweet and true,
A tender touch in midnight's chill,
In every stanza, love imbues,
A warmth that bends my heart to will.
In solitude, they found me lost,
With ink and love, they charted light,
Each poem read, no matter the cost,
Rescued my soul from endless night.
Sonnets of Solace
In pages worn, where tender verses dwell,
A symphony of hearts begins to play;
Each sonnet tells what words alone can't spell,
In ink, I find the light to guide my way.
Through rhymes that dance, I’m wrapped in warm embrace,
With every line, a whisper soft and clear,
They lift me from the shadows to a place,
Where love's sweet melody chases off my fear.
No longer prisoner to the night's cold breath,
These lines stitch seams of solace in my soul,
In ink, I wrestle doubt, defy my death,
For in this dance of words, I am made whole.
So let the sonnets rescue me once more,
With ink and heart, I’m lost and found, restore.
