A Slippery Slip-Up
Oh dear, oh dear, a slip so grand, On a banana peel, I took my stand. With one quick step, my feet took flight, And down I went, oh what a sight! A graceful tumble, a clatter and crash, I laughed so hard, it turned to a splash. The fruit's mischief turned my day bright, As I rolled on the floor, a comical sight. With bruised knees and an ego in shatters, I got up chuckling, oh how it flatters. So here's my lesson, my friends, take heed, Watch where you step, or you're sure to concede!
The Cat in Boots
Oh dear, the cat wore boots, so vain, Strutting about in the sun, oh what a gain! With each little step, she'd dance and prance, In sparkly shoes, she'd take a chance. Whiskers twitching, tail held high, Chasing shadows, oh me, oh my! But when the rain came down to play, Those boots got soggy—oh, what a day! With every puddle, a splashing cheer, The cat just laughed, 'I have no fear!' For in her heart, a queen did dwell, In boots so bright, she'd cast a spell. So next time you see a feline so bold, With boots in their stride, don’t be controlled. A little silliness makes life complete, Even if kitties parade in their feet!
