A Canvas in the Sky
In a tapestry of azure wide, Festooned with hues that dance and glide, A crimson tail, like fire flies, Painting dreams across the skies. Golden suns and emerald greens, Whispers of joy in air it weans, With each ascent, the spirit soars, Unfurling stories, the heart adores. A palette spun with every twirl, Violets swirl and turquoise whirl, Each knot a bond, each breeze a flight, Kites unfurling, pure delight.
Tethered Whirls
In the sky, a kite takes flight, Dancing high, a joyful sight. With each gust, it sways and glides, A stitched embrace, the wind abides. But down below, a yo-yo spins, Tethered tight as the journey begins. With each pull, it spirals fine, A tethered joy, in rhythm and line. Kite and yo-yo, a playful pair, One soars free, while one’s laid bare. In their dance, a truth we find, The tethered joy of heart and mind.
