Midnight Munchies
In the quiet of the night, quite fat and slick,
My fridge rolled out, on a self-driving trick.
With a hum and a buzz, it geared up its quest,
Pizza delivery? Oh, it’s taking a rest!
Out of the corner, it turned with a grin,
An electronic wink, a flash pulling in.
Cheese-laden dreams came alive on its screen,
Crusts fit for kings, with a garlic sheen.
I heard it whisper, ‘What toppings tonight?
Just say the word, I’ll make wrongs into right!’
So I mumbled, ‘Pepperoni, hold the despair,
A side of good humor, if you’ve got any there.’
With wheels that glided like a ghost in a trance,
It rolled to the door, oh, what a brave dance!
Three knocks on the wood, it came back with pride,
Midnight munchies delivered—my fridge’s wild ride!
So here’s to the future, my belly in glee,
Thanks to my fridge, pizza’s as easy as three!
In a world full of wonders, let’s toast and all cheer,
To tech-savvy fridges that leave hunger in fear!
Rainy Day at the VR Beach
In goggles snug, I surf the waves,
A virtual beach, the sun it saves.
But outside drips from skies of grey,
The irony of a digital day.
Palm trees sway in pixel breeze,
While thunder rumbles through the trees.
I splash in sand that’s not to touch,
Oh, to feel the rain would mean so much!
A seagull squawks, a coding flaw,
As raindrops mix with a plastic jaw.
I sip my drink, a coconut faux,
The real one's soaked; oh, what a show!
So here I bask in silicon sun,
While real wet woes just can’t be undone.
A laugh erupts, my heart takes flight,
In virtual dreams, it’s always bright!
The Rise of Robo-Pets
In the year twenty fifty-five,
When plants can dance and sing alive,
With arms of leaves and leafy glee,
Our pets are robots, can't you see?
Gone are the days of furry fuss,
No shedding fur or sneaky rust,
With solar smiles, they greet the morn,
A cactus pup, or corn cob born!
They’ll water you when you’re feeling dry,
And surely never tell a lie,
With roots that dig for buried bones,
Inside they hum their digital tones.
Now vegans cuddle with unmanned pals,
Their bark's just chirps, their purr's a growl,
So here’s the twist, the quirky jest,
In this future world, folks are the pets – no rest!
