Fortune's Whirl
The wheel turns slow, a hush in the night, Bright colors blur, in a dance of light. Red and black chase, a flicker, a gleam, Life's fickle chance, a high-stakes dream. Fingers clench chips, hearts race with pace, Each spin a fate, a gamble, a chase. One moment of hope, then silence, then doubt, Destiny spins, what’s in, or what’s out? In shadows they gather, whispers unfold, Of fortunes lost, and stories retold. A laugh, then a cry, such fragile allure, The roulette spins on, life’s game so unsure.
The Gambler's Gaze
Eyes darting like shadows in the dim-lit haze, Secrets concealed, in a poker face’s maze. Chips stacked high, hopes riding on a card’s grace, The thrill of the gamble, a heart’s wild race. In silence, whispers weave through the smoky air, Deceptions and truths dance, with hardly a care. Bluff or reveal, it’s a game of the bold, Where fortunes are forged, and legends are told. Beneath the surface, emotions run deep, A fleeting glance stolen, a promise to keep. In the world of chance, where destinies collide, The gambler’s true art is where secrets abide.
