Crabby Heist at Durdle Door
At Durdle Door where seagulls soar,
A crafty crab with one big chore,
He eyed my lunch, oh what a sight,
With sneaky claws in midday light.
I placed my sandwich down to tan,
And danced about, my happy plan.
But he, the thief with quickened pace,
Grabbed my lunch, oh what a case!
With lettuce flying, mayonnaise too,
The crab scuttled off, a daring coup,
I laughed aloud, though a little mad,
For lunchless moments are not so bad.
So here’s a cheer for crabs so bold,
Who steal our meals, so sly and cold,
At Durdle Door, under sun’s warm glare,
Just mind your food, or he’ll be there!
Durdle's Golden Hour
When twilight whispers to the shore,
And paints Durdle Door in hues galore,
The sun dips low, a painter's brush,
Gold and pink in a vibrant hush.
The cliffs stand tall, their spirits bright,
As seagulls dance in the fading light,
With laughter ringing through the breeze,
Nature's canvas, a masterpiece.
A lobster sits, all dressed in flair,
A beach ball bounces, without a care,
As waves come tumbling, soft and round,
The rocks chuckle, they humor the sound.
So when you roam where the wild waves roar,
Let sunset colors your heart explore,
For Durdle Door, in its golden guise,
Is a playground of joy beneath the skies.
