Echoes of Abandon
In a hall filled with laughter, they sit side by side, Yet empty chairs linger, where memories hide. Conversations flow, but a silence persists, The weight of the absence can no longer be missed. A glass half-full of dreams that once danced in the air, Now sits neglected, like whispers of despair. Faces aglow, yet hearts feel the chill, The crowded delight can’t the emptiness fill. Each laugh is a shadow, a ghost of the past, While echoes of absence grow louder and vast. An empty chair waits to tell all it knows, Of lives intertwined, and how quickly love goes.
Flicker of Hope
In shadows deep where whispers dwell, Hope flickers dim, a fragile shell. A dying flame, its glow so slight, Yet in the dark, it fights for light. With every gust that seeks to snuff, It dances still, though times are tough. A spark within the heart remains, Resistant to the world’s refrains. Beneath the weight of fear and doubt, It flickers on, a valiant scout. For even when the night seems long, That little spark can still be strong.
Torn Pages of Forgotten Dreams
In a dusty corner, shadows creep, Torn pages whisper secrets they keep. Forgotten dreams, like fragile lace, Drift through the silence, lose their place. Ink stains bleed on yellowed sheets, Echoes of laughter, heart's lost beats. Each crumpled line, a tale untold, Of hopes that flickered, now dim and cold. Yet in the rips, a beauty remains, A patchwork of joy, of losses, of pains. For though they’re torn, these fragile seams, Hold the essence of life, our unspoken dreams.
