Crimson Tapestry
In whispers soft the forest sighs, Beneath the boughs where twilight lies. Crimson leaves, a fragile sheet, Carpet the earth with quiet seat. Each step a crunch, a song of loss, Beneath the trees, nature's gloss. Golden hues where shadows creep, In autumn's arms, the world doth sleep. With every fall, a tale unfolds, Of summer’s warmth and winter’s holds. In this embrace, the wild does weave, A tapestry of time, we grieve.
Whispers of Dusk
In twilight's glow, the branches bare, Stand sentinel 'neath the crimson flare. A whispering dance of the day’s retreat, As sunlight bleeds through the leafless seat. Glimmers warm in the fading light, Kissing the sky, a farewell bright. Though foliage sleeps and shadows creep, The heart’s pulse quickens, a promise to keep. Each bough holds stories, silent and old, Of autumn's fire and winter's cold. Beneath their watch, the world takes flight, In hues of amber, in softening night.
