Whispers of the Feline
In shadows where the moonlight weaves, The velvet paws of night deceives, With emerald eyes that seem to see, The secrets of ancient mystery. A purring sage on windowsills, In stillness, wrapped in twilight thrills, They speak in gestures, soft and sly, Of whispered realms that drift on high. With tails that twitch, they weave a tale, Of worlds unseen, where dreams set sail, Each feline gaze, a sage's thought, In quiet corners, wisdom caught. They wander through the hidden spells, Of other times and tangled wells, Listen close, for if you dare, A talking cat may share the air.
The Other Mother's Smile
In shadows deep, her grin does gleam, A painted mask, a waking dream. With buttons sewn where eyes should be, Her laughter whispers, hauntingly. A garden lush, a world awry, Beneath her gaze, the flowers sigh. The warmth a trap, so sweet, so vile, Beneath her charm, lies dark denile. For in her heart, the chill resides, What love she gives, destruction hides. Beware the pull of that strange light, The Other Mother's smile, a snare at night.
