The Byrds' sweet song in fading light.
Love once soared on wings of gold,
Now drifts in echoes, soft and cold.
Whispered secrets, the breeze does carry,
Of moments cherished, now long and wary.
Hearts entwined as the music played,
Fleeting shadows where dreams once laid.
The wind, a witness to laughter and sighs,
Now weaves through branches where memory lies.
Love lost, yet in harmony, forever entwined,
As tales of the heart are softly maligned.
Through rustling leaves, a bittersweet sound,
In every note, our longing is found.
For love may wander, like birds in the sky,
But in whispered winds, it never says goodbye.
