Garden of Despair
In shadows cast by withered blooms,
Desolation sighs, the garden looms.
Beneath a sky of leaden gray,
The flowers wilt, the colors sway.
Thorns embrace the vacant air,
Petals whisper secrets rare.
Hope retreats, a ghostly flight,
In silence bound, lost to the night.
Yet in this stark and barren view,
An echo stirs, a pulse so true.
For even in despair's cruel bite,
A seed may stir and seek the light.
Whispers in the Walls
In hollow halls where shadows creep,
Silent cries in silence seep.
Echoes of sorrows, unspoken, unseen,
Burdened hearts where hope once had been.
Whispers linger, heavy as night,
Gloom wraps around, eclipsing the light.
Each breath a murmur, a ghostly refrain,
In the quiet, we cradle our pain.
Windows are barred, yet still, tears flow,
Through cracks in the plaster, despair starts to grow.
Hushed are the dreams, where once they took flight,
Now haunting the corners, lost from our sight.
But in every murmur, a story to tell,
Of longing, of solace, in shadow's own spell.
Though hollow these walls, they cradle and keep,
The weight of our anguish, our silence runs deep.
Echoes in the Rain
Beneath the weeping sky's embrace,
The rain-soaked streets reflect my trace.
Each step, a whisper, lost in gloom,
Where memories linger, thick like perfume.
Puddles cradle silent sorrows,
As shadows dance through grey tomorrows.
With every drop, the heartbeats sigh,
Murmurs of joy that dared to fly.
Lonely lamplights, flickering dims,
Hold secrets within, where silence swims.
The world, a canvas, draped in tears,
Paints the echoes of forgotten years.
