Whispers of the Moonlit Stones
In moonlight's glow, the stones arise,
Their stoic forms, beneath the skies.
Weathered whispers from ages past,
In silent vigil, shadows cast.
Each chiseled tale, a fleeting sigh,
Of lovers lost and dreams that fly.
Night's cool breath caresses their face,
As time stands still in this sacred space.
The moonlight dances, a spectral grace,
On granite hearts, in time's embrace.
In haunting hush, they stand alone,
Guardians of secrets, carved in stone.
Guardian of Stone
In the shroud of stormy night,
A guardian stands, a stoic sight.
With weathered face and silence deep,
In granite skin, the shadows creep.
Thunder’s roar and winds that moan,
Yet in his gaze, no fear is shown.
The tempest wails, its fury known,
But he remains, a stoic stone.
Each drop of rain, a whisper lost,
Of battles fought and dreams embossed.
Through every trial, in nature's game,
The stone holds fast, unchanged, the same.
When dawn breaks soft, the storm will cease,
And in his heart, a steadfast peace.
For storms may howl, and skies may groan,
But strength endures in stoic stone.
