The Story in My Hands
Beneath the weight of daily toil,
Where calloused palms from earth recoil,
Each wrinkle speaks of battles fought,
In silent strength, a lesson taught.
With worn-out nails and weathered skin,
They show the journey deep within,
Of sweat that mingles with the soil,
Each crack and line, a tale of toil.
When morning breaks, the work begins,
As dreams are forged through blood and sins,
These hands have crafted more than clay,
They’ve shaped the dawn of every day.
So lift them high, let others see,
The stories spun in agony,
For in each scar, a life unfolds,
Worn hands, a legacy of gold.
Awakening Duty
In the hush of dawn, the world anew,
Morning light breaks with a golden hue.
Challenging shadows, the night must yield,
With each soft ray, our resolve is sealed.
The dreams of night fade in the glare,
As duties beckon with a tender care.
Rise to the challenge, embrace the day,
In light's warm embrace, let purpose play.
For each golden beam carries a call,
To rise, to strive, to stand tall;
With courage ignited, we step from the night,
And greet the dawn with hearts alight.
