Reflections of Ink
In the quiet verse, the metaphors conspire, Curled in ink, they whisper, as meanings aspire. A heart in a cage, yet a cage with a door, What’s freedom when chains could be so much more? In every stanza, a puzzle takes form, Symbols that shiver, both delicate and warm. A rose speaks of love, but the thorns draw a plight, Can beauty exist without shadow and light? The pen holds a mirror, reflecting its quest, Interpretation’s dance never rests on a jest. With every twist of thought, the meaning will switch, Poems critique the words, as if mocking the pitch. So here lies the poem, in layers it’s told, A riddle wrapped in riddles, with secrets untold. For in the end, symbols wear masks to disguise, Their truth, and our vision, through ever-changing eyes.
Ink and Inquiry
These lines, like shadows, stretch and bend, In inked thoughts, I seek to comprehend. Do I stumble upon my own design, Or dance within the margins, intertwine? Words question lines, what is truth's own face? Am I a poem, or a thought's embrace? In verse I wander, restless, free, A meta-mirror reflecting me. Each stanza glimmers, yet stands apart, Fleeting fragments of a questioning heart. Can form define the soul, or just confine? In every echo, seek the thought divine. So let this ink swirl, and let it sigh, In seeking answers, I must ask why. A poem about a poem, here I stand, Inked questions dancing at my own command.
