Umbrella Ballet
When clouds conspire, the skies turn gray,
With drizzles joining the rainy ballet.
My trusty umbrella, a cheerful chap,
Flips and flutters, no time for a nap.
We dance through puddles, a waltz so spry,
Splashing reflections, oh my! Oh my!
Each raindrop’s a note, in our joyful tune,
Underneath our shelter, we swagger like loons.
Bright colors collide, like a circus parade,
In this vibrant canvas, where gloom starts to fade.
So when storms roll in, I’ll grip my dear friend,
With a spin and a twirl, let the laughter ascend!
Train Station Shenanigans
In a station where the minutes creep,
Beneath the flickering lights, I peep,
A fellow waits with mismatched socks,
And two bright parrots in a box.
He tells a tale of lost luggage,
Said it rode a bus, quite the rugged;
With every chuckle and playful jest,
Time moves slowly but feels like a fest.
Across the bench, an old man sings,
Of forgotten love and fleeting flings,
His hat too big, with a flower stuck,
As he dances like a clumsy duck.
A traveler yawns, 'Is that a train?'
Or is it just my dream's refrain?
Yet laughter echoes, the clock can wait,
In delay’s embrace, we create our fate.
