The Jester's Whispers
In motley garb, the jester danced,
With bells that chimed in playful prance,
He spun his tales, both bright and stark,
Revealing secrets in the dark.
His laughter rang, a merry sound,
Yet in his eyes, a wisdom found,
With every jest, a hidden plea,
For hearts entangled, wild and free.
He spoke of love, a tangled thread,
Of things unsaid and tears we shed,
In riddles wrapped, the truth took flight,
A jester's song in the fading light.
So heed his laugh, take heart, be wise,
For in his jest, the secret lies;
Though jesters play, their hearts are true,
In every joke, a love shines through.
The Jester's Dance
In motley garb, the jester prances,
With bells that chime in joyful glances,
His cap and laughter, bright his stance,
Weaving mirth in every chance.
He twirls through time, a blur of glee,
Where kings and queens, in reverie,
Spill secrets sweet, in whispers low,
As laughter blooms in hearts aglow.
With every jest, he marks the page,
A tapestry of joy and rage,
For history's role is etched in jest,
Where folly speaks, and wisdom rests.
So let him dance, and let him play,
In courts of old, where spirits sway,
For through his art, the truth unfolds,
In laughter’s light, our stories told.
