Whippoorwill Serenade
In the hush of night, where shadows creep,
The whippoorwill sings, secrets to keep.
A melody drifts through the starry expanse,
A wild harmony calls, inviting the dance.
Loneliness wraps me in its tender embrace,
Yet the soft whispering notes bring solace and grace.
Each fluttering call, a friend in the dark,
In the lonesome woodlands, I find a spark.
The moon hangs like lanterns in obsidian skies,
While echoes of nature weave melodies wise.
Though nights may be lonely, I’ll listen and feel,
For in wild harmonies, my heart learns to heal.
Whispers of the Whippoorwill
Beneath the vast, unyielding night,
A whippoorwill calls, a song of flight.
Echoes of solitude drift through the trees,
In harmony woven by the gentle breeze.
Stars shimmer softly, in silence they twirl,
As shadows embrace the forgotten world.
Each note a confession, each pause a plea,
In the stillness, the heart finds its decree.
Loneliness dances on wings of the night,
With every soft coo, the dark feels a light.
So here I remain, beneath heaven's quilt,
Where the whippoorwill sings of the dreams I've built.
Twilight Whispers
In twilight's soft and gentle fold,
Whippoorwill sings, a tale retold.
Echoes waltz through dusky air,
Dancing whispers, light as prayer.
Beneath the stars, where shadows play,
The night unfolds its velvet sway.
Each note a breath, each cry a call,
In whispered woods, enchantments fall.
The world slows down, the heart takes wing,
In every sound, the night takes wing.
So let the whippoorwill's refrain,
Guide you through the twilight’s vein.
Can't find the poems you're looking for?
Whispers of Twilight
In twilight's hush where shadows weave,
Whippoorwill calls; the night's reprieve.
Beneath the boughs where secrets dwell,
The forest breathes a mystic spell.
Leaves whisper tales of dreams untold,
In twilight's grasp, the night unfolds.
Each echo dances, soft and low,
In the silence, mysteries flow.
Moonlight spills through branches bare,
A tapestry of night laid rare.
The whippoorwill sings, a haunting tone,
In the woods' embrace, we're never alone.
