Echoes of Yesterday
In twilight’s glow, where shadows fade,
A whisper lingers, sweetly laid.
Time cradles dreams, a lover’s sigh,
Forgotten hearts beneath the sky.
Lost in the maze of days gone by,
With every heartbeat, a silent cry.
Embrace the moments, soft and fleet,
In the tender dusk, our souls repeat.
The past, a garden where memories bloom,
In every petal, love finds room.
Time’s embrace, a gentle retreat,
Where forgotten hearts again shall meet.
Maps of Affection
In the attic of memories, dust-laden and still,
Lie maps of affection, paths overgrown,
Each crease a whisper, each tear a thrill,
Where love etched its stories, the seeds we had sown.
Vines twist and tangle in the corners of time,
Where laughter once danced on the edges of dreams,
But echoes have faded, no longer in rhyme,
And sunlight now filters through muted moonbeams.
Yet the heart beats on, though the roads are unclear,
Charting the journeys we vowed never to sever;
With ink of remembrance, we trace what was dear,
For love, like a compass, guides us forever.
