Solstice Light
In the heart of frost, where shadows reign,
A whisper of warmth breaks the cold's disdain.
Beneath the dark cloak of the longest night,
Dances the promise, the flicker of light.
Starlit echoes of fireside cheer,
Gathering voices, the warmth drawing near.
With each candle lit, a vow we renew,
To honor the light in the depths of the blue.
So we feast in the long hours of gloom,
Embracing the spark that will burst into bloom.
For winter's embrace is a cradle, not cage,
As the sun finds its strength, we joyfully wage.
To celebrate cycles of dark and of bright,
The solstice reminds us, we cherish the light.
Breath of Winter
In the chill of winter's grasp,
Air sparkles, a breath made visible,
Whispers of hope dance lightly,
As frost adorned trees stand tall.
Each exhale a promise, bright and clear,
The world holds its breath, awaiting the dawn,
For in this stillness, we find the cheer,
Of quiet dreams, where night meets the morn.
