Eclipsed by Silence
In fields where shadows fought the light,
Steel clashed in the dark of night.
Where echoes of valor lived and died,
Yet peace, a ghost, cannot abide.
Hearts heavy with the weight of pain,
Dreams of calm like distant rain.
Oceans of blood and tears have flowed,
But still the seed of hope’s not sowed.
Battles roar like tempests wild,
Yet in the heart, a yearning child
Whispers soft in the raging storm,
For peace to birth, for love to warm.
The dawn breaks still, a muted hue,
A canvas stained by countless bluer
And as the sun climbs ever east,
We search for that elusive feast.
March of the Brave
Soldiers march in shadows deep,
Where hope and fear in silence creep.
With hearts ablaze and footsteps bold,
They tread on tales of glory told.
In battle's breath, the whispers churn,
For peace they yearn, but flames still burn.
Beneath the weight of steel and scar,
The dream of calm, a distant star.
Yet fervor drives their weary stride,
A melody where fears abide.
In every step, a prayer’s caress,
March on, brave souls, through love and duress.
