Voices echo through empty corridors,
Whispers of dreams that could not take flight,
Shadows dance in the dimming light,
As hopes linger, far from their shores.
Each step, a struggle, a silent fight,
Memories tremble in the stillness vast,
Time weaves tales of the future and past,
While the heart, heavy, clings to the night.
In solitude, thoughts carve their own space,
Imagined triumphs, a bittersweet race,
Yet in the silence, a flicker ignites,
A spark to reclaim lost, courageous sights.
Waves of Doubt
Waves of doubt crash relentlessly,
A tempest churns within my mind,
Each thought, a rogue that seeks to flee,
Amidst the chaos, truth confined.
I swim through currents dark and deep,
With questions swirling in the foam,
Yet every struggle, every leap,
Constructs a path towards my home.
The shores of will, though restless, near,
And yet I rise to meet the tide,
For in the storm, I find my gear,
