Whispers of Winter's End
Cold whispers linger, dreams held tight,
As frost-kissed dawn breaks, painting light.
Gentle murmurs of snowflakes play,
In the hush of morning, they softly sway.
Beneath the blanket, slumbering earth,
Awakens anew, embracing rebirth.
Each flake that falls, a tale to confide,
Fades in the warmth of spring's gentle stride.
But echoes of winter, in whispers remain,
Reminding us all of the soft, silver pain.
As warmth gathers strength and shadows retreat,
We breathe in the thaw, life’s pulse bittersweet.
Whispers of Spring
Beneath the quilt of winter's breath,
A slumbering earth awaits its mend,
Soft whispers of warmth, the chill will heft,
As snowflakes bow, their reign to end.
The crocus peeks, a brave debut,
Emerald blades break through the white,
Each droplet sings of life anew,
As days grow longer, banishing night.
With every gust, the wisps retreat,
Revealing patches, vibrant, raw,
Spring's tender kiss, a gentle greet,
Where snowy dreams once held in awe.
So let us dance on thawed terrain,
For winter's grip, it fades away,
In sunlit glade, we’ll shed the pain,
And weave our hopes in bright array.
Whispers of Thaw
In the hush of winter's chill,
Nature holds her breath in white,
Blankets soft on vale and hill,
Muffled dreams in frosty night.
But beneath the frozen crust,
Life awaits its gentle cue,
Warmed by sun and springtime's thrust,
Soil awakens, drenched anew.
Bud and blossom pierce the gray,
Colors dance in soft embrace,
Nature's breath, a sweet ballet,
Renewal painted on her face.
Snow retreats with grace, it seems,
Leaving traces of its time,
In the cradle of our dreams,
Nature's cycle, pure, sublime.
