Echoes of the Mute
In shadows deep where language fades, A heart once bold now curls and knades. Like autumn leaves in silent fall, Each whispered thought, a muted call. Unspoken thoughts, they weigh like stone, A soul unshared feels all alone. The pen runs dry, the ink runs cold, In silence, dreams decay, grow old. But in the hush, beneath the sigh, A spark lies buried, yearning to fly. If only voice could break this spell, For silence kills, but thoughts can tell.
Whispers Unheard
In the hush where dreams should soar, A stillness creeps, akin to lore. It wraps around the fragile light, And stifles songs, extinguishing sight. Echoes fade in the barren air, Silence thrives, it breeds despair. For hope that longs to break the chain, Is left to wither, drown in pain. Yet in that void, a spark may rise, A silent cry to claim the skies. For even in the muted night, A heart can pulse, reclaim its flight.
