Reflections of Dread
In shards of glass, my fears unwind,
A fractured world where shadows bind.
Each glimmer shows a face once known,
Now twisted thoughts, I'm all alone.
Whispers crawl from jagged seams,
Inviting madness, haunting dreams.
Keep out, it says, but I draw near,
For in this void, I confront my fear.
What lurks behind that glassy stare?
A phantom dance, of grief and despair.
I swipe at truths, both sharp and clear,
In broken mirrors, I face my fear.
Whispers in the Dark
In shadows deep where silence creeps,
A haunting breath, the secret keeps.
Whispers echo, cold and stark,
Beware the tales that haunt the dark.
Footsteps linger, hearts will race,
Each corner hides a ghostly face.
A shiver runs, the candles spark—
What stirs within this ghostly park?
Fingers trace the shattered walls,
Hear softly now—can you hear their calls?
In dread they speak of fears unmarked,
So heed the signs that loom in dark.
Whispers of the Forgotten
In shadows deep where memories creep,
A cursed tale begins to seep.
Amidst the twilight, a warning scrawled,
In whispers low, the echoes called.
Keep out, beware, the spirits loom,
Among the ruins, they find their tomb.
Old tomes lay strewn, their pages torn,
Guarded by secrets, forever worn.
Once held in hands of those who sought,
The knowledge guarded, the lessons taught.
Yet greed ignited a flame untamed,
So, beware the lore that’s long been shamed.
For in the night, when shadows slide,
The past awakens, the lore can’t hide.
So turn away, let silence reign,
For the curse of knowledge brings only pain.
