Translucent Dancers
In a still and mirrored pond,
Where whispers dance on water’s skin,
Butterflies flit, a jeweled bond,
Painting hues, where dreams begin.
Glimmers of gold, and splashes of blue,
They pirouette on sunlight's thread,
Soft petals brush as if they knew,
The ballet of life, where hearts are fed.
Each flutter, a brushstroke, bold yet light,
Accenting echoes of nature’s song,
In this canvas, day gives chase to night,
While the pond breathes in, where colors belong.
Slumbering Serenade
Upon the tranquil pond they rest,
Lily pads cradle, nature's nest.
Tiny frogs in dreams, so deep,
Beneath the moon, in shadows creep.
Whispers of water, soft and low,
As gentle breezes dance and flow.
Silent serenade of the night,
Cradled in green, a peaceful sight.
Whispers by the Pond
In stillness by the water's edge,
Where mirrored skies and lilies rest,
Leaves dance softly on the ledge,
With secrets in their whispered jest.
The breeze, a gentle spirit's breath,
Listens close as tales take flight,
Of summer's warmth and autumn's death,
In nature's arms, both day and night.
They share the stories of the stars,
And dreams that drift like petals free,
In this tranquil world, beneath the scars,
The pond holds all—just you and me.
