Caged Whispers
In the shadowed woods where silence weeps, Trapped spirits linger, their sorrow keeps. Cloaked in night, the hunter's breath, Stalks the echoes of whispered death. Eyes like embers, they dart and glide, In the thicket where their dreams reside. Yet steel traps snap with a ghostly click, Binding the hearts, the swift, the quick. Songs of the wild, now muffled and frail, Under the weight of the hunter's trail. Poaching dreams with a glint of gold, In the grip of greed, the tales grow cold. But in darkness, their spirits rise, Beyond the snares, beneath the skies. A haunting echo in the hunter's ear, For every life lost, a new song to hear.
Echoes of the Silent Woods
In the amber glow of twilight’s breath, Whispers roam where shadows rest, The rustle of leaves, a fleeting dance, Echoes of life, lost to chance. Stealthy steps on the forest floor, A heartbeat quiet, a nature’s roar, Stolen glimpses, of herds that flee, As poaching hands claim what’s wild and free. With every stroke, a songbird’s wail, Muffled cries in the dappled trail, Lives scattered like autumn leaves, Yet nature weeps, and still believes. Hope entwined in roots of old, In the whispers of trees, their stories unfold, For every life that falls to strife, The pulse of the woods holds onto life.
Nature's Disguise
In shadows deep, where silence sighs, The forest breathes its ancient cries. With every bloom and creature bold, Nature's bounty, bought and sold. Woodsmen tread on sacred ground, While silent cries are all around. For every tree, a secret told, By hands that grasp, yet actions cold. Emerald leaves, a price to cast, The past is sold, the die is cast. Yet in each heart, a truth enfolds: Nature’s dreams can not be sold.
