In shadows deep, where whispers dwell,
A chase unfolds, a silent yell.
Through endless halls with doors ajar,
Each turn reveals a phantom star.
Fears take flight on trembling feet,
As echoes dance in rhythmic beat.
Heart pounds loud, the darkness calls,
Where every step the memory sprawls.
Walls breathe tight with memories dense,
A haunted past, a present tense.
Chasing fears through shadows long,
In the night where nightmares throng.
Yet in this maze, a flicker glows,
A spark of hope that gently grows.
For though I run, I seek the light,
To turn my nightmare into flight.
