Endless Halls
In shadows deep, where whispers dwell, A chase unfolds, a silent yell. Through endless halls with doors ajar, Each turn reveals a phantom star. Fears take flight on trembling feet, As echoes dance in rhythmic beat. Heart pounds loud, the darkness calls, Where every step the memory sprawls. Walls breathe tight with memories dense, A haunted past, a present tense. Chasing fears through shadows long, In the night where nightmares throng. Yet in this maze, a flicker glows, A spark of hope that gently grows. For though I run, I seek the light, To turn my nightmare into flight.
Eclipsed by Shadows
In the grip of night, the clocks unwind, Ticking softly, yet time is blind. A dance of shadows where whispers curl, In this dark realm, my senses swirl. Familiar faces are fleeting mirage, Reality bends, a cruel collage. Each heartbeat echoes, a distant plea, What was once mine now slips from me. A tapestry woven with threads of dread, The lines of the real begin to shred. Yet in this nightmare, I stumble and roam, Searching for solace, a way back home.
Whispers of the Twilight
In the hush of twilight's dome, Where shadowed fears begin to roam, Creeping like whispers, soft yet stark, They dance in the corners, hungry and dark. Eyes wide shut, I feel them near, Ebon tendrils, feeding on fear. Silent phantoms glimmer and weave, In the fabric of dreams, they quietly cleave. Nightmare's embrace, a sinister cloak, With every heartbeat, the silence bespoke. Yet through the dread, I seek the dawn, For even in darkness, hope’s light is drawn.
