Lifted by Love
In Daddy's strong arms, I soar so high,
Like a bird on the wind, I touch the sky.
He wraps me in warmth, a fortress of grace,
With laughter like sunlight, and joy on his face.
His hands are my wings, as we dance through the air,
Each lift tells a story, each spin a new prayer.
With every embrace, my worries take flight,
In Daddy's strong arms, the world feels just right.
Faded Fragrance
In quiet corners of my mind, it stays,
The scent of cedar, warmth of yesterdays.
A whisper of his laughter fills the air,
The cologne that lingers, sweet and rare.
Like twilight shadows softly drawn,
It wraps around me, dusk till dawn.
Each note, a memory finely spun,
A father's love, a battle won.
Though time may march, and years may fly,
In scented dreams, he’ll never say goodbye.
So here I breathe, in fragrant bloom,
My daddy’s essence, forever in the room.
Fearless Wheels
In the golden glow of a summer's day,
My heart raced fast, unsure of the way.
With trembling hands, I grasped the bars,
My daddy beside me, under the stars.
He whispered softly, 'Just look ahead,
Feel the breeze, let go of your dread.'
I pedaled hard, wings in my chest,
In that moment, I felt so blessed.
The world blurred by, a painting of dreams,
With laughter rising, bursting at the seams.
I wobbled and weaved, but never fell,
With my daddy's voice, casting a spell.
'You’re flying!' he cheered, a beacon of light,
In that fearless dance, everything felt right.
With each turn I took, my spirit took flight,
A bond forged in motion, in the golden light.
