Secrets Beneath the Mirage
In the shimmer of the desert's breath, Glistening waves weave a tale of death. Whispers dance on the surface bright, Hiding shadows from the hungry light. Beneath the azure, where dreams take flight, Lies a barren land, cloaked from sight. Each ripple teases, a siren's song, Luring the lost, where they don’t belong. Secrets buried in the grains of time, Waves arc gracefully, a silent rhyme. In the heat, the truth remains concealed, As mirage sways, the parched land yields.
Oasis of Illusions
Beneath a sun that scalds the earth, A shimmer dances, bright but untamed, In silent whispers, dreams give birth, An oasis lost, forever unnamed. Waves of heat create a spell— A fleeting vision, soft and grand, But as I reach, it fades, farewell, An empty promise in the sand. Each step I take, the mirage teases, Reflecting hope in shimmering bands, Yet all that lingers in the breezes, Is dust, a ghost of desert lands.
