Embrace of Solitude
In corners dim, where shadows play,
A blanket wraps the world away,
Its warmth, a cocoon of quiet grace,
A haven found, a sacred space.
With whispered thoughts and solace near,
The heart finds rhythm, beats sincere,
In solitude, where dreams take flight,
The loner dances with the night.
Each stitch of yarn a story spun,
In the golden glow of setting sun,
Here in this realm, where silence blooms,
A tapestry of stillness looms.
So let the world rush, let it roam,
For in this peace, I've found my home,
A tender quilt of my own design,
In solitude, my soul aligns.
Silent Steps
In the hush of evening's glow,
Where shadows stretch and whispers flow,
A wanderer walks, but none can see,
The quiet pain of his decree.
Footsteps soft on empty streets,
A rhythm lost, where silence meets,
Each echo fades, a ghostly sound,
In solitude's embrace, he’s bound.
The streetlamps flicker, casting light,
On dreams once shared, now out of sight,
A heart that beats, a mind adrift,
In the stillness, solitude's gift.
No voices call, no laughter rings,
Just murmured thoughts and silent things,
A loner's path, though seldom heard,
In vacant spaces, souls are stirred.
Faded Echoes
In a box beneath the bed, they sigh,
Faded photographs, where shadows lie;
Each captured smile, a fleeting glow,
Memories tucked away, soft as snow.
Whispers of laughter, now distant and faint,
Ink on the edges, with colors that paint
A tapestry woven of time’s gentle hand,
Yet here in the silence, I silently stand.
Dust gathers thick, on the dreams we’ve lost,
Each image a ghost, yet I’m drawn to the cost;
For in every picture, a story remains,
Of love and of longing, of joy and of pains.
