In the gentle dawn of day,
Children laugh and dance and play,
Their joy a chorus, sweet and clear,
In every giggle, love draws near.
Sunshine beams on faces bright,
In their smiles, the world feels right,
A love so pure, a love so wide,
Jesus walks with them beside.
Each little heart, a sacred song,
In laughter's embrace, they all belong,
His arms outstretched, a warm embrace,
In children's joy, we see His grace.
Tender Shepherd
In fields of grace where laughter blooms,
The gentle shepherd softly looms.
With arms outstretched, He gathers near,
Each tiny heart, He holds so dear.
Through valleys low and skies of blue,
His love is vast, forever true.
With every step, our fears He mends,
A guiding light that never bends.
So let them run, those joyful feet,
In love's embrace, their souls shall meet.
