Whispers of Solitude
In shadowed corners, whispers creep,
A voice within begins to weep,
It speaks of secrets, dark and bare,
In silent chambers, the weight we bear.
It murmurs tales of loss and pain,
Of dreams forgotten, love in vain,
In echoes curled, despair takes flight,
A haunting hymn in the still of night.
Each thought a prisoner, bound and lost,
In isolation, we count the cost,
Yet in this quiet, a truth may bloom,
A fragile hope amid the gloom.
Silent Echoes
In the quiet cradle of night,
Where shadows dance with whispered light,
Breath held tight in the void's embrace,
Isolation weaves its lonesome lace.
Time drips slow, a languid stream,
Filled with thoughts that haunt and dream,
In absence vast, I tread alone,
A heart that aches, a chilled, stark stone.
Each echo lost, a phantom sound,
In solitude, no peace is found,
Yet still I search, through endless dark,
For solace in this aching stark.
Shroud of Shadows
In silence deep, where whispers fade,
Isolation’s grip, a heavy shade.
Darkness wraps ‘round like a weighted shawl,
Each heartbeat echoes, a distant call.
The world outside, a flickering light,
But here in the stillness, there’s no gentle night.
Thoughts collide in a stormy sea,
Each wave a reminder of what used to be.
Yet in this gloom, a spark may arise,
A glimmer of hope beneath charcoal skies.
For in the depths where shadows dwell,
A flicker of light can break the spell.
