Echoes of Doubt
In quiet corners, shadows creep,
Whispers of doubt, secrets deep.
A heart in turmoil, wrapped in fright,
Silence swells in the dead of night.
Mirrors reflect what we cannot see,
Glances of judgment, they linger, they flee.
Threads of confidence fray at the seams,
A tapestry woven with fraying dreams.
Yet in the stillness, a soft voice calls,
“To rise from the ashes, to break down the walls.”
Though echoes of doubt may cloud the mind,
A spark of courage leaves shadows behind.
Fortress of Doubt
In shadows deep, I build my wall,
Each brick a fear, each crack a call.
Afraid to show what lies within,
A heart that's tired, afraid to sin.
These barriers rise, they touch the sky,
A fortress strong, yet I wonder why.
For every stone, a tale of shame,
The echo of whispering doubt, my name.
Outside the walls, the world stands bright,
Yet here I hide from love’s soft light.
To tear these walls would feel like falling,
Yet just beyond, I hear love calling.
Distorted Reflections
In the glass, I meet my gaze,
A shadowed self in endless maze,
Lines and curves, all out of place,
What do I see? A masked embrace.
The mirror whispers lies, it seems,
With fractured thoughts and broken dreams,
I search for truth in that cold blue sheen,
Yet find a world that's seldom seen.
A face of doubt, a heart of fear,
The echo's twisted whispers near,
But in the cracks, a light may gleam,
Perhaps the truth is built on themes.
So let this mirrored moment fade,
I’ll sketch my worth, unafraid,
For in this soul, beyond the glass,
There lies a truth that shall not pass.
