Strings of Shadows
In corridors where whispers dwell, The puppets dance, a crafted spell. Unseen hands in shadow's play, Dictate the night, and banish day. A smile masks a hidden game, As fortunes rise in webs of shame. The echoes of the common voice, Silenced by the gilded choice. With strings entwined in power's grip, Each puppet sighs, a muted quip. Yet through the cracks of gilded dreams, The truth will rise, or so it seems.
Shadows of Deceit
In halls of power, whispers fade, Where dreams of truth are deeply laid, Citizens' hopes, like brittle glass, Crushed under weight of lies amassed. Promises flutter on puppet strings, While silence echoes, the darkness clings, To every vote that faith has cast, Deception's shadow looms so vast. Yet in our hearts, a spark remains, A flicker bright amidst the chains, For every truth that they've confounded, A rise of justice, unbounded. So let not dreams fall into despair, Together we'll breathe the fervent air, For out of ruins, hope can bloom, And cast away the shrouded gloom.
Whispers in the Halls
In chambers where the echoes dwell, A tale of power weaves its spell. Beneath the marble, shadows creep, Justice stirs, yet struggles to leap. Corruption’s voice, a silken theft, Promises made, with hope bereft. Behind the smiles, decisions rot, In whispers lost, the truth forgot. The citizens, in silence plead, For honor's hand, a noble deed. Yet deep within the gilded frame, Resides a heart devoid of shame. Oh, watchful eyes on empty trust, Rise up, reclaim, as rise we must. For justice seeks a standing ground, To overthrow the chains unbound.
