Echoes of the Night
In twilight's hush, a shadow darts, Through silver mist, as darkness parts. With ears attuned, the fox takes flight, Chasing the echoes of a distant howl tonight. The moon, a lantern in the sky, Watches as whispers of the wild imply, A symphony played by the night’s own breath, Where secrets dance beyond life and death. Through tangled woods and fields of dew, The fox pursues all that is true, In fleeting moments, pursuing the sound, A heart entwined with the lost—unbound. In every rustle, every sigh, The haunting call of the far-off cry, With nimble grace, the chase unfolds, Chasing echoes—stories untold.
The Watchful Gazes
In emerald fields where whispers sway, A fox with cunning eyes lies in play. Behind the tall grass, it softly waits, A master of stealth, the hunter of fates. With every rustle, heartbeats quicken, The clever one's gaze, sharp and stricken. A flick of the tail, a glimmering spark, As shadows dance in the coming dark. Silent as secrets, it blends with the breeze, Nimble and wise, it prowls with ease. From dusk till dawn, through the whispers of night, The fox in the grass, a poem of light.
