The Emu's Eye
In the stillness of the dusty plain, An emu stands, wisdom in its gaze, With feathers worn from time and pain, It holds the secrets of the days. Each feather whispers tales of old, Of sun-kissed mornings, twilight's sigh, A guardian of stories never told, Beneath the vast and open sky. Its eyes, like amber, deep and bright, Reflect the ages, clear and wise, In silent watch, it knows the night, And all the dreams that dance and rise. So heed the glance of this great sage, For in its stare, the past aligns, An emu's gaze, through every age, Connects the present with the signs.
In Their Plume
A parade of emus, tall and proud, Wanders together, a curious crowd. Through fields of gold, their laughter resounds, As they meander, where freedom abounds. With feathers like shadows, a dance in the sun, They whisper tales of the day just begun. In a world of their own, on a nature’s whim, Each stride a story, each glance a hymn. Amongst the tall grass, they leave their trace, A gentle reminder of wildness and grace. In unison they roam, a flock, side by side, An emblem of unity, where wild hearts abide.
Echoes of Emu Calls
In fields where whispers ride the breeze, An emu calls across the trees. With throaty notes, a haunting sound, Its echo dances 'round the ground. A lonely stretch, the sunset's glow, Carries the call, both loud and low. In dusk's embrace, a wild refrain, The echo lingers, soft like rain. Each note a thread, weaving the night, A song of freedom, pure delight. In twilight's arms, the world stands still, As emu calls remind us, will.
