Voices in the Gloom
In the hush of twilight's breath,
Whispers dance on the edge of death,
Faint echoes of laughter, blurred in time,
Sewed into the fabric of twilight's rhyme.
Shadows weave tales in a dim-lit room,
Each flicker of light, a memory's bloom,
Faces and voices, both tender and frail,
Drifting like leaves in a soft, sorrowful gale.
They flicker like candles, those spirits of yore,
With half-formed stories, they long to explore;
Unraveled in silence, they linger and sigh,
Captives of dusk, where the lost dreams lie.
Canvas of Sorrow
Shadows stretch, a whispered sigh,
Across the canvas where dreams lie,
In shades of gray, emotions blend,
A tapestry where heartstrings bend.
Each stroke a memory, soft yet deep,
In silent corners, sorrows creep,
The light may flicker, but darkness stays,
In the depths of night where longing plays.
Yet from this shadow, colors bloom,
A hint of hope dispels the gloom,
For every tear that stains the night,
The canvas waits for dawn's warm light.
