Rain on Pavement
Tears fall like rain on the pavement,
A rhythm of heartache, a sorrowful tune.
Each drop whispers secrets, of love’s sweet enslavement,
As echoes of laughter fade with the moon.
The clouds weep their burden, a mirror of pain,
Each puddle reflects the dreams that we shared.
In the distance, the thunder calls out your name,
A storm of emotions, now dreadfully bared.
But from this wet ground, new flowers will bloom,
As the sun breaks the clouds and the shadows retreat.
Though now I am lost in this heartbroken gloom,
I'll rise from the rain, let my spirit be fleet.
Whispers in the Void
Once we danced in twilight's glow,
Promises whispered, soft and low.
Now the silence, a heavy shroud,
Echoes of us, lost in the crowd.
Words that sparkled in the night,
Drift like shadows, out of sight.
In the stillness, hearts unwind,
Dreams once held, now left behind.
You were the sun, I was the breeze,
Together we wove through swaying trees.
But the branches broke, our roots untwined,
Love's sweet whispers, now hard to find.
Whispers of Silence
In the stillness, echoes reign,
The heartbeats pause, a muted pain.
Words unspoken, a heavy air,
In the silence, I feel you there.
Once vibrant laughter, now a ghost,
Every glance, a haunting boast.
What we cherished, shattered, tossed,
In the silence, screams of what we lost.
Memories linger, like shadows cast,
Moments of love that couldn’t last.
Every tear, a story told,
In the hush, our dreams turn cold.
Yet still in quiet, hope persists,
Beyond the shadows, the heart insists.
Though silence shrouds our tangled past,
In what was lost, love’s depth will last.
