Crickets' Lullaby
In the hush of twilight’s glow,
Crickets sing soft and low,
Nature’s choir, a gentle tune,
Embracing dreams beneath the moon.
Stars awaken, flickering bright,
As crickets serenade the night,
With every chirp, a whispered prayer,
A lullaby carried through the air.
Wrapped in peace, the world goes still,
Night enfolds with tender will,
Close your eyes, let worries cease,
And drift away on wings of peace.
Cocoa Dreams
In twilight's glow, the shadows play,
A gentle hush to end the day.
Warm cocoa swirls in porcelain fair,
A sip of comfort, sweet and rare.
Cozy thoughts like whispers drift,
As evening folds its quiet gift.
The world outside begins to fade,
In dreams of warmth, my heart is laid.
With every sip, a tranquil sigh,
As stars peek through the velvet sky.
Nestled deep in blankets tight,
I'm cradled soft, ’neath moonlit light.
So let the night embrace my soul,
In cocoa's warmth, I feel the whole.
A lullaby, in sips and sighs,
Till morning breaks and daylight flies.
