Veils of Time
In the hush of fading light,
Stands an ancient doorway tall,
Veils of time, like whispered dreams,
Wrap around its weathered wall.
Carved with tales of days long past,
Silent echoes seek to roam,
Through the arch, the shadows dance,
Calling wanderers to come home.
Each grain of wood, a verse untold,
Each creak, a story of its own,
Secrets linger in the dust,
Where echoes of the ages groan.
So pause a while, let time stand still,
Gaze through the door to what has been,
For within those veils, a world exists,
Where history breathes, and dreams convene.
Whispers of the Stone
In shadows deep, where ancient stone,
A doorway stands, with secrets sewn.
Carved in time, the stories lay,
Of bygone nights and lost ballet.
Each etching holds a voiceless song,
Of travelers brave, where they belong.
Through cracks of ages, whispers creep,
Unlocking dreams the stones must keep.
A threshold crossed, what tales unfold?
Of love and loss, of courage bold.
In silence waits the heart’s keen lore,
The mysteries birth 'round the ancient door.
The Doorway of Time
In shadows deep where whispers dwell,
An ancient doorway bids farewell.
Beneath the roots of towering trees,
Nature reclaims with gentle ease.
Stone frame wrapped in ivy's embrace,
Once a portal to a sacred space,
Now cradled by the earth's soft hand,
Where legends rest, and dreams still stand.
A symphony of rustling leaves,
The heart of time, it breathes and weaves,
The echoes of the past resound,
As life anew breaks from the ground.
In every crevice, stories flow,
The tender kiss of wind and snow,
Nature’s brush with colors bold,
Turns ancient tales to dust and gold.
