Veils of the Night
In twilight's grasp, the stars conspire, Faint flickers of once-bright desire. Whispers of love in shadows loom, Each word a seed of silent doom. Beneath their glow, a truth concealed, A heart once open, now sealed. When night descends and darkness creeps, The light of trust, it softly weeps. For every spark that lights the skies, Betrayal hides in sweet disguise. As constellations fade from sight, Love's hidden agendas cloak the night.
Moonlit Shadows
Under the silver veil of night, Moonlight dances, soft and bright, Yet in its glow, shadows creep, Whispers of secrets, dark and deep. A heart once warm, now chilled by doubt, Words unspoken, truth left out. The breeze carries a tales’ lament, Of promises shattered, love’s descent. In tangled branches, deceit does grow, Each leaf a story, a hidden woe. Yet still it twirls, this beautiful lie, As stars bear witness to the silent cry. For in the dance of light and gloom, Love's sweet fragrance hides the bloom, Of trust once held, now turned to ash, In moonlit shadows, memories clash.
Entangled Roots
In the forest where whispers weave, Roots entangle, the hearts believe. Beneath the surface, where shadows play, Lies like vines twist, leading astray. Love was once sunlight, bright and pure, Now buried deep, we must endure. Each leaf that rustles, a secret song, Of bonds once cherished, now torn and wrong. In the dance of the trees, a soft lament, For trust was the soil, but betrayal's scent Lingers heavy, like morning dew, Where the truth was hidden, and faith withdrew.
