Moments in Her Absence
Time hangs still, a fragile thread,
Each tick a whisper, softly said.
In shadows deep, where echoes play,
I wait for dawn, the light of day.
The clock’s hands creep, reluctant, slow,
In every breath, it’s her I know.
Fields of hours, where memories dwell,
Each second stretches, casting a spell.
Her laughter lingers, like a song,
In quiet spaces, it won’t be long.
For soon she’ll come, with grace anew,
And time will dance, in shades of blue.
Sunset Whispers
Every sunset paints the sky,
A canvas rich, a soft goodbye.
With colors that ignite the night,
I dream of her, my heart takes flight.
Each hue a promise, each glow a sign,
With every dusk, our souls align.
The world may fade, but love’s refrain,
Brings me closer, again, again.
So as the sun dips low and deep,
I hold her close, in dreams I keep.
With every twilight, my heart takes aim,
I can't wait to see, to call her name.
