Chasing Shadows
In twilight's glow, my feline prance,
Chasing shadows with a daring dance,
Whiskers twitch as the night unfolds,
Drool trails behind, a story told.
On silent paws, through dreams I soar,
Pouncing lightly, forever wanting more,
With each leap, the darkness unfurls,
In my world of whispers, a dance of swirls.
Mischief twinkles in emerald eyes,
The moonlit stage where my spirit flies,
Drooling dreams in the night's embrace,
Chasing shadows, my heart finds grace.
The Prowl of Hunger
Soft paws prowl at dusk’s embrace,
In shadows thick, they stealthily trace.
Whiskers twitch with a primal thrill,
As hunger stirs, an urgent will.
The world, a feast, their senses keen,
A kaleidoscope where dreams convene.
With moonlit eyes, they hunt the night,
A symphony of purrs, a soft delight.
Drooling dreams of feathery flight,
Each rustle beckons, ignites their might.
From window sills to garden's edge,
In pursuit of morsels, they pledge.
In soft silence, they dance and play,
Hungry hearts will find their way.
For every thrill that night bestows,
A cat's desire forever grows.
