Echoes of Yesterday
In shadows soft where memories dwell, Whispers of a past, a timeless spell. Faded voices in the corridors of night, Tell tales of laughter, dreams taking flight. A rusted clock with hands of gold, Ticking stories of the brave and bold. Lost in time, where silence reigns, Ghosts of yore dance in the lanes. Each leaf that falls, a secret shared, In its crisp crunch, the heart is bared. Resurrect voices, once sweet and clear, In the stillness, they draw us near. So linger a moment, let echoes play, In the labyrinth of twilight, they guide the way. For every whisper in the twilight's hue, Is a thread of the past, woven in you.
Gentle Thief
In the cradle of the twilight sky, Time dances softly, on wings of sighs. A whisper of moments, like grains of sand, Slips through fingers, not meant to withstand. Each heartbeat a story, each tick a thread, Woven in shadows, where dreams often tread. Yet, in this embrace, a bittersweet grace, As memories linger, their warmth we retrace. The past paints us boldly, with colors so bright, In echoes of laughter, in whispers of light. Though time is a thief, in its gentle caress, It gifts us with wisdom, our souls to impress.
